The Grosvenor Museum’s 15th Open Art Exhibition - TWO prints accepted
Share
I'm genuinely thrilled to have had two of my more arty photographs accepted for exhibition in Chester as part of The Grosvenor Museum’s 15th Open Art Exhibition.
My Mum & Dad have enjoyed success in this show over the years and I always associated it with drawing and painting, but I noticed that sometimes photographic submissions were also selected. So for the first time ever, I entered the competition this year and was so chuffed to have had two of my three entries accepted. In doing so, I felt a strong connection with my artistic parents.
These two prints are now on show at the Grosvenor Museum, Chester, until 31st August. There is a "People's Favourite" vote, so if you do visit and like my work, I'd really appreciate your vote :-) My folks didn't enter this year, but at least I'm keeping up the family tradition!
The two images are "The Gathering" Yr Wyddfa and "Sunshine Through Travel" Northwich. I had also entered "Penmon Trinity No.1" but this wasn't accepted.
The exhibition details are as follows:
9 February – 31 August 2025 and the exhibition is open to the public Tuesday – Saturday, 10.30am – 5.00pm, Sunday 1.00 – 4.00pm.
Address: 27 Grosvenor Street, Chester, Cheshire CH1 2DD
