I'm not a wildlife photographer, and probably don't have the patience to be one, but every now and then wonderful little moments happen where the bird or animal seems to possess a character, and then I can't resist making a picture.

This collection also contains some studies of plants and vegetation that also sometimes allow for beautiful or unusual images, which don't need to be categorised under location.
