As you summit the hill, ancient figures suddenly become stones, instantly frozen but characters nevertheless. If you tune in carefully, you can hear them speaking to each other, whispering about the new person in their midst. I am very aware that my presence is recognised and when I walk away in the fog, I know I’m being watched. There is a ruined entrance around 2m wide on the west side. Despite the name, it long predates the Druids as it was constructed in the Bronze Age (3300 BC – 1200 BC)\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"dispData block\" data-key=\"II_CAPTION\"\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThere is a ruined entrance 7ft. (2.1m) wide on the west. The interior is free from stones, save for a small modern cairn.'
